Connect-i

Connect-i is part of the electronic round controlled by Guardus with any monitoring center through an alarm panel. Thanks to this accessory it is possible to have real time feedback on the patrol officer’s activities. Connect-i is of great importance to electronic round control since the real time feedback makes the supervisor’s constant check in visits almost unnecessary.

The Connect-i is used by Security companies with patrol officers posted at critical or dangerous locations and which want to follow their activities in detail. It is also used by Universities, industries, hospitals, or any company that has its own security and relies on a monitoring service.

The Connect-i works in the following manner. It is connected to a zone of an alarm panel, as a regular sensor. It is compatible with any panel or central alarm available in the market and its power source is the panel itself. The Connect-i shares round schedules with the Guardus used at the location-The patrol officer performs the round normally and finishes by confirming it on Connect-i, communicating between the alarm panel and the monitoring central station, therefore there are no restrictions for the use of Connect-i. 

The end result is as follows:- If the patrol officer did not perform the round, or if it was incomplete or incorrect, Connect-i sends the central monitoring system a signal - control absent. The same happens if the patrol officer fails to confirm the round on Connect-i in the given time. All report resources are available on the central monitoring system- A zone of the alarm panel may be used for Connect-i to send a pulse once the round has been successfully performed - control present.
